From coast to coast: the same battle for arts education

Not only do 20% of New York City schools lack any certified art instructor on the staff, but even where there are arts teachers there are no materials, according to this New York Observer story.

And indefatigable arts ed blogger Richard Kessler finds people fearful when he uses the “a” word (as in advocacy).
