COAST Magazine: “Write a letter about the importance of arts in schools”

The June 2010 issue of COAST, hot off the presses, features an interview with Wylie Aitken, OC arts patron and newly-appointed member of the California Arts Council.

In a sidebar called “Save the Arts,” COAST urges readers to write to their “board of education, state representative and/or the governor about the importance of arts in schools.”

COAST’s longtime Editor-in-Chief, Justine Amodeo, gets it!  Woo-hoo!

Great to hear this – I better pick up an issue of COAST and check this out with my own eyes! Without students developing their artistic abilities we can all say goodbye to our Artwalks!!
